1. Overview
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of OzCopilot Tutor (the "Service"), including our web platform and iOS app. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
OzCopilot Tutor is an independent study tool designed to help you prepare for Australian CASA aviation exams. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official representative of CASA.
2. Accounts & Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it.
3. Subscriptions, Trials & Billing
We offer subscription packages (e.g., RPL, PPL, CPL, IREX and All‑Access). Prices and inclusions are shown in the app and may change from time to time.
- Free trial: If offered, trials provide temporary access to paid features. After the trial, the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the end of the trial period.
- Renewals & cancellations: Plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or the relevant app store. Access continues until the current billing period ends.
- Refunds: Where purchases are made through Apple, Google, or other app stores, refunds are handled by those platforms subject to their policies. For direct purchases, contact us for assistance.
- Taxes: Prices may include or exclude applicable taxes depending on your location; any taxes will be shown at checkout where applicable.
4. Acceptable Use
- Do not share your account or sublicense access.
- Do not attempt to copy, scrape, or redistribute our question banks or proprietary content.
- Do not use the Service in any way that violates law, exam rules, or third‑party rights.
- Do not interfere with the Service’s security or integrity.
5. Learning Disclaimer
Our AI assistant and study materials are provided for educational purposes only. Explanations, answers, and recommendations may be incomplete or incorrect. Always cross‑check with official CASA publications and approved training providers.
Never rely on the Service for operational decision‑making in flight. The Service is not a substitute for professional instruction, flight training, or official sources.
6. Content & Intellectual Property
All content on the Service, including questions, explanations, UI elements, logos, and brand assets, is owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use the Service during your active subscription.
You may not copy, modify, reverse‑engineer, resell, or distribute the Service or its content except as permitted by law.
7. Third‑Party Services
The Service may integrate with third‑party providers (e.g., payment processors and app stores). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
8. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time; termination does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
9. Disclaimers & Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data or profits.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect the most recent changes. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
